About Us

We aim to help people grow in character and spur them on to be the good in their world - one envelope at a time.

Who is Meadow for?

If you desire to live every facet of your life well and you feel called to make an impact on the lives around you, too — Meadow is the snail mail club for you

Why Meadow?

I started Meadow because there's things that don't seem to come up nearly enough in the personal growth space. Things we all quietly think, struggle with, and/or feel that we may never say out loud... yet they can impact everything.

So, Meadow sends analog communication (letters) in hopes to bring those things to the surface, so you can grow beyond them. We believe communicating these things through letters is best, because it allows you to take whatever time you need to sit with each month's message and put the practical guidance into motion in your life.

Life is precious, yet it can get so busy and we can get distracted from the inner work we so desperately need to do. Work that helps us ensure that when our lives come to their end, that we look back with no regrets. So, Meadow aims to lovingly lead you toward the change you know you need, and to also draw you closer to the people who've been purposefully placed in your world.

Who writes the letters?

Hi, I'm Vanessa. I'm a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, and a friend. I am a Christian and my faith informs how I see and exist in the world, but my letters are not devotionals. Instead, faith shows up in Meadow’s letters as it does in my life – genuinely, honestly, and never "in your face."

I pursued an education in Psychology because I've always been drawn to helping others through the not so pretty times of life. Rather than avoiding the hard things, I find myself drawn to them because it's the struggles, the pain, the hardships that we face that remind us we have much more in common than we have differences.

Beliefs Fueling Meadow

We believe there's nothing new under the sun - the things we struggle with that make us feel abnormal and alone are often the things that can bond us together (as we realize we aren't alone at all).

We believe naming and addressing our struggles is the first step to overcoming them - because ignoring them allows them to take root and do as they please within us. But acknowledging them, seeing them for what they are removes their power over us.

We believe life is meant to be lived fully - that doesn't mean taking trips abroad, buying the next best thing, or having a name that's known (though there's nothing inherently wrong about any of these things). It means doing the hard work of growing in character and heart, focusing on what really matters, being a light to those around you, and not wasting any good thing.

We believe the legacy you leave is made of small, consistent, ordinary acts of goodness and courage.

We believe that the people in your life were put there for a reason - and that there's ways only you are able to show up for them.

We believe a simple paper letter in the mail can still change someone's day, and maybe even someone's life.

We believe whoever you are and wherever you find yourself, that Meadow will inspire you to live every area of your life well. <3
